On April 17th, Clemson University hosted their inaugural symposium on Medical Biophysics. Dr. Keith Weninger, of the NCSU BioPhysics department, was invited to give a talk. The talk was entitled, “When DNA mismatch repair doesn’t do what you want.” It was about the competition between mismatch repair proteins and transcription factors. It also dealt with the role of mismatch repair proteins in Huntington’s disease.
Cameron Stephens, of LeBlanc lab, presented a research poster at the symposium.

Here is a picture of the attendees at the symposium.
